In reply to your letter of the 26th instant which

I only got today as I have been absent from town, I am sorry

to say that the papers went last week to Mr. Wilfrid Lewis.

If you will remember the interview we had on the 20th January

was late in the evening and I made no notes at the time and

therefore quite forgot that you had expressed the view that

the papers should be sent to Mr. Preedy. I must apologise for

the slip, but at the same time I do not think so far as the

case is concerned we have anything to regret in the papers

having been sent to Mr. Wilfrid Lewis,

Yours sincerely,

Charles J. D. Barchell
